Life Church Osaka

When LIFE Church was going through a major season of transition, we found ourselves wrestling with uncertainty about the future, past hurts, and questions about the direction God was leading our church.
Rather than immediately offering clear answers or ministry strategies, Pastor Fumi and Miko first chose to listen. They walked alongside us, cried with us, and patiently helped us move forward. Their coaching began with relationship long before it focused on leadership.
Through their coaching, we gained a completely new understanding of the mission of the local church. Instead of trying to copy successful church models, we discovered that the true mission of the church is to make disciples whose lives are genuinely being transformed by God. We also learned that spiritual growth is not simply about gaining more knowledge, but about allowing God’s truth to transform the way we think and live from the inside out.
These lessons gradually reshaped the culture of LIFE Church. Rather than trying to provide people with all the answers, we learned to help them recognize what God was already doing in their lives. As a result, people have become more open and authentic, taking greater ownership of their own spiritual growth.
Today, we have the privilege of passing on what we received from Pastor Fumi and Miko to Roger and Erika, who are preparing to plant a church. Seeing what was invested in one generation naturally flow into the next has become one of the clearest pictures of healthy disciple-making and coaching.
Church leadership can often be lonely. Yet Pastor Fumi and Miko have created a community where leaders are encouraged, challenged, equipped, and genuinely cared for. Their influence has shaped not only our ministry, but also our personal walk with God, and for that we are deeply grateful.
We wholeheartedly recommend Tamarisk to every leader who desires to build a healthy, disciple-making church.
